HOTEL ESTACION GERONA BED & BREAKFAST, Guatemala City – A Smart Stay in the City

I stayed at this hostel for two nights and while it had some good points like a friendly owner and hot showers, overall it left a lot to be desired. The building felt quite old, and although there was a kitchen, it was pretty dirty and under-equipped. The breakfast was hit or miss and the beds were somewhat uncomfortable, making it not the best value for the price.

I had an interesting stay at this hostel. The owner was incredibly welcoming, and I felt a homely vibe overall. The room was decent, clean, and affordable, but I did have concerns about security, particularly with some items going missing during my stay. While it has a lot of potential with its friendly atmosphere and free breakfast, I can't ignore the uneasy feeling I had about safety.

My stay here was quite a mix. The location is good for a quick stopover, close to bus services and attractions. The staff, especially Roberto, were really helpful, and the rooms were clean enough for a brief stay. However, the breakfast was way too simple and inconsistent, and the kitchen facilities needed serious cleaning and upgrades. Overall, it's decent for a night but not worth staying longer.
